Wharton Students Take to Street

Wharton students protested for getting a job. The school is highly regarded and prized for its finance programs (and MBA) and regularly sends new recruits to big groups like Citigroup, BlackRock and PIMCO.

Several CEOs of big names expressed their empathy. Laurence Fink, BlackRock CEO, said that they (the students) were not lazy people, but people are losing hope and they go to the street. Vikram Pandit, Citigroup CEO, expressed his opinion by saying that their action was understandable because of the broken trust. While Mohamed El-Erian, PIMCO CEO, warned that it will expand in the coming weeks and months as a struggle for worldwide greater social justice.
